Sand Dunes: The Highlight of Mui Ne
Red Sand Dunes
Located close to the center of Mui Ne, the red sand dunes feature a distinctive red-orange hue that looks most stunning at sunrise and sunset. You can go sandboarding or simply sit back and watch the sun go down.

White Sand Dunes (Bau Trang)
Further from the center, the white sand dunes stretch out like a miniature desert, with a freshwater lake nestled in the middle. Many visitors rent off-road vehicles to ride across the sand. Arriving very early to catch the sunrise and avoid the scorching heat is highly recommended.
Fairy Stream: Wading Through Red Sand Cliffs
Fairy Stream is a small, clear, and shallow stream that flows between red and white sand cliffs eroded into unusual shapes. You walk barefoot upstream along the stream — a gentle, leisurely experience that is suitable for children as well.

Mui Ne Fishing Village
Early in the morning, the fishing village comes alive with boats returning after a night at sea. Hundreds of round basket boats bobbing on the water create a truly photogenic scene. This is also a great place to buy fresh seafood at reasonable prices.

Ta Cu Mountain
Located near Phan Thiet, Ta Cu Mountain is home to an ancient pagoda and a large reclining Buddha statue set amid the forest. You can take a cable car to the summit, where the air is cool and refreshing — making it a great option for older visitors. Since it is quite far from Mui Ne, set aside a dedicated morning for this attraction.
What to Eat in Mui Ne – Phan Thiet?
Fresh seafood, bánh căn (mini rice pancakes), bánh xèo (sizzling crepes), Phan Thiet-style lẩu thả hotpot, and fish sauce are local specialties you should not miss.
